After a break-up you may feel as if you are not good enough or that something is wrong with you and you may begin to view self negatively. This is why having a support system is important because they can remind you of your greatness when you forget. Every relationship (regardless of the duration) teaches you more about yourself. A healthy support system consists of individuals who are honest with you, will remind you of your great qualities and traits and will also point your attention to the areas where you need to grow. Perhaps it is time to take an assessment of your life, especially your behaviors, beliefs and thoughts as it pertains to love and relationships.
• Insecure?
• Dishonest?
• Are you jealous?
• Lack accountability?
• Are you irresponsible?
• Do you not honor your word?
• Do you know your relationship patterns?
• Are you rude, disrespectful, and mean or have a negative attitude?
• Are there emotional wounds that need you need to heal because they are sabotaging your relationships?
You are the common denominator in all of your relationships; therefore it is important to know how you contribute to the overall health of all of your relationships. The only way to grow is to operate in truth and if there are any behaviors that are no longer yielding the outcomes and experiences you desire, then it is time to let them go.
