YOU'RE NOT ALONE... BREAK-UPS HURT!!
By Anne K, Recovering Exaholic
Are you an Exaholic? If you're asking yourself that question, then chances are you've come to the right place. Are you having a difficult time moving on? Have thoughts of your ex been an obstacle to your growth? Our feelings and their intensity may vary from person to person. For some of us, pain is the predominant feeling at the moment. We're not able to concentrate all too well and may feel depressed. Some of us just don't know where to begin. We've spent a great deal of time and energy on the ex and find it hard to re-establish control over our own lives. We feel alone. Some of us are single, some are divorcees, and some may be divorcees with children. Regardless of where on the spectrum we fall, a pill that would immediately solve all of our problems would likely make us forever grateful.
Well, until that pill is available, it's going to take hard work. It won't be easy. And for many of us it will hurt. Emotional pain can be far more difficult to heal than physical pain.
This site takes a different approach than conventional websites, many of which may even seem to diminish or make light of what we're going through. Most of us have had enough of being told that we'll get over it and that everything will be ok. For us, it's just not ok right now...
...which is why exaholics.com is here... to generate healing for and by exaholics themselves. While there is an experts section, this site is forever non-professional. That means we're relying on ourselves. We understand each other and can relate to one another like no one else.
